I am a withered flower
With no life left in my vein
I have long since lost power
Strength I can not regain
My leaves so dry and brittle
I could crumble at a touch
But I am so weak and little
And I can't do very much
I see a sun but get no light
Hid in the darkness of fear
Wander thru endless night
And see that there is nothing here
Once I was a thing of beauty
Loved by everyone I saw
Then they lost interest in me
And left me with no one at all
Now I sit here with just me
My thoughts my only friend
With a broken-hearted plea
For all my sadness to end
I am so little and unwanted
Colored by an unnourished death
With no petals to be flaunted
I realize now there's nothing left
